Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250 gms boneless chicken, diced


  • 1 tbsp ginger paste


  • 1 tbsp garlic paste


  • 3/4 cups onions,thinly sliced


  • 1 tbsp salt to taste


  • 1 tsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 1 tsp chaat masala powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 pinch baking soda


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 cups chickpea flour or besan


  • 4 tbsp rice flour


  • 1/2 litre oil for deep frying


  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions

  • Wash the chicken and drain all the water. Chicken should be partially moist
  • Marinate the chicken with all the ingredients except oil.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Keep the flame on medium low heat
  • Take a small portion from the marinated chicken and make a small ball.
  • Deep fry till golden from all sides. Make sure the chicken is properly cooked.
  • Serve chicken pakoras with Kadak masala chai
